Agent 227 reported that on March 27, 1972, about 500 Khmer-Yuon Viet Congs departed from Phnom Kampek, crossing Saiva and Tonle Bati in order deploy and hide near Wat Ang and Prachum Ang villages at VT 896-621, sangkat Cheung Kep, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. the source added that the enemies were about to attack the National Army at Prek Ho bridge and Takhmau in the time later.
