According to a National Agent, on march 29, 1972, as many as 20 Khmer-Yuon Viet Congs dressed in black uniforms and equipped with granade, spades, torches and nylon string hid themselves at WT 034-940,
015-925, 020-905 in sangkat Puk Russei, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province. the source added that they were about to attack our National Army in the time later. ព័ត៌មានដែលទទួលបានពីភ្នាក់ងារមកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២៩ មីនា ១៩៧២ មានយួនយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួន២០នាក់ ស្លៀកពាក់ឯកសណ្ឋានពណ៌ខ្មៅ មានខ្សែនីឡុង១ដុំ ពិល១ម្នាក់ និងគ្រាប់បែកដៃជាច្រើនគ្រាប់បានមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៣៤-៩៤០, ០១៥-៩២៥, ០២០-៩០៥ សង្កាត់ពុកឫស្សី ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបញ្ជាក់ទៀតថា គោល បំណងរបស់ខ្មាំង គឺធ្វើការវាយលុកមកលើកងទ័ពជាតិឆាប់ៗនេះ។
