A source reported that on August 25-26, 1971, maybe 600 North Yuon Viet Congs departed from Stung Trang district towards western Phnom Tet, and Thma Poun village, sangkat Chamka Svay at W 268-425 and 268-426, and then stayed at the house of the forest chief in western Phsa Thmar Poun at W 265-424. The souce indicated that this enemies would continue North in order to attack the National Army.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានមកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៥-២៦ សីហា ១៩៧១ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ ធ្វើដំណើរចេញពី ស្រុកស្ទឹងត្រង់ តម្រង់ទៅខាងលិចភ្នំទែត ឆ្ពោះទៅភូមិថ្មពូន សង្កាត់ ចំការស្វាយ ត្រង់ចំនុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ ២៦៨-៤២៥ និង ២៦៨-៤២៦ ហើយចូលជ្រកនៅផ្ទះមេព្រៃនៅខាងលិចផ្សាថ្មពូន ត្រង់ចំនុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ ២៦៥-៤២៤។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ថា ក្បួនទ័ពនេះតែងតែធ្វើដំណើរ ឆ្ពោះមកទិសខាងជើងទាំងអស់ដោយបំណងវាយប្រហារកងទ័ព ការពារជាតិ។
