The source reported that on October 31, 1971, they found Viet Cong's thatched-roof headquarter at the foot of Chi mountain in sangkat Sochet, Santuk district. Maybe 4,700 enemies had divided into 4 groups and hidden in a forest in Santuk district.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានមកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ៣១ តុលា ១៩៧១ ឃើញទីតាំងយួនយៀកកុងមានរោងប្រក់ស្លឹកនៅតាមជាយភ្នំជី ក្នុង សង្កាត់សូចិត ស្រុកសន្ទុក។ ពួកខ្មាំងមានប្រហែល៤,៧០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធបានចែកគ្នាជា៤ក្រុម បង្កប់នៅព្រៃក្នុងស្រុកសន្ទុកនេះ។
