Kaing Tainghuy was a member of the food supplies unit of Artillary battalion 260 in region 25, zone 203. Battalion 260 comprised 290 soldiers under the command of You Chhun. The forces were deployed in three places, Prek Andoung, Tachea and Prek Russei villages. This force was arranged to fire vessels convoying from Taing Chov down to Phnom Penh, especially the stretch from south of Prek Dach to Kporb Ateav. He was placed in chage of transporting food supplies, fish and meat, to the troop. In third area ammunition and 50% of rice were destroyed and as a result people and the troop will face a severe shortfall.
កាំង តាំងហ៊ុយ ជាសមាជិកអ្នកផ្គត់ផ្គង់ស្បៀងប្រចាំកងវរសេនាតូច កាំភ្លើងធំលេខ ២៦០ ប្រចាំតំបន់ ២០៣។ កងនេះមានកងទ័ព ចំនួន២៩០នាក់ ស្ថិតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ យូ ឈុន ដែលមាន ទីតាំង៣កន្លែងនៅព្រែកអណ្ដូង ភូមិតារជា និងនៅភូមិព្រែកឫស្សី។ កងឯកភាពនេះមានតួនាទីចាំបាញ់ប្រហារក្បួននាវា ដែលឡើងពីតាំងចូវ មកភ្នំពេញ និងជាពិសេសគឺនៅចាប់ពីខាងត្បូងព្រែកដាច់មកដល់ ខ្ពប់អាទាវ។ ជននេះមានភារៈកិច្ចដឹកជញ្ជូនអង្ករមកចែកឱ្យកងទ័ព និងរកត្រីសាច់សម្រាប់ផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទ័ព។ នៅក្នុងតំបន់នេះមានការខូចខាត គ្រាប់រំសេវ អង្ករ៥០ភាគរយដូចនេះ ប្រជាជន និងកងទ័ពត្រូវមានការ ខ្វះខាតខ្លាំង។
