On May, 12, 1972, about 100 North Yuon Viet-Cong soldiers, equipped with B40 guns, automatic guns and granades, hid themselves in a forest West of Talei village VT873-710 and VT872-705, and then in the forest at VT898-710, between Sangkat Prey Sar and Cheung Ek, Dangkao district, Kandal province. Those enemies attempted to destroy Monivong bridge and the Radio station at Stung Meanchey.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១២-ឧសភា-១៩៧២ មានយៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល ១០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធបេ៤០ និងកាំភ្លើងស្វ័យប្រវត្ដិជាច្រើនដើម និងមានគ្រាប់បែកជុំវិញចងេ្កះបានមកបង្កប់ខ្លួន នៅម្ដុំព្រៃខាងលិចភូមិតាឡី ចំណុចវេតេ ៨៧៣-៧១០ និងវេតេ ៨៧២-៧០៥ ខ្លះទៀតរាយគ្នានៅត្រង់ព្រៃវេតេ ៨៩៨-៧១០ ក្នុងចន្លោះសង្កាត់ព្រៃស និងសង្កាត់ជើងឯក ស្រុកដង្កោ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកខ្មាំងមានបំណងឡើងមកកមេ្ទចស្ពានមុនីវង្ស និងប៉ុស្ដិ៍វិទ្យុស្ទឹងមានជ័យ។
