On May-10-1972, about 350 Viet-Cong and Viet-Cong Khmer soldiers, equipped with heavy guns, left to Tumpek mountain forward to Toe Noem village and then passed through many other villages. They deployed themselves along Saba lake from VT802-577 VT508-577, Eastern of Trapeang Chak village in Sangkat Thmei, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១០ ឧសភា ១៩៧២ មានពួកយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធធុនធ្ងន់ជាច្រើនដើមបានចេញពីភ្នំទំពែក ដើរសំដៅឡើងមកភូមិទឹមនឹម រួចឆ្លងកាត់ភូមិជាច្រើនទៀត ដោយនាំទ័ពទៅរាយគ្នាតាមមាត់បឹងសាបា ចំណុចវេតេ ៨០២-៥៧៧ រហូតដល់ចំណុចវេតេ ៥០៨-៥៧៧ ខាងកើតភូមិត្រពាំងចកក្នុងសង្កាត់ថ្មី ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
