Sek Chamroeun was arrested on July 09, 1974 at Tuol Krasaing. He was a combatant in platoon 711, battalion 127, regiment 268 company 12, at special zone. Battalion 127 was under the command of Srass with a force of 280 up to 300 soldiers equipped with all sorts of weapons. The enemy's combatants in this unit were not willing to combat mainly because of withnessing their familiess living in a miserable condition addition, they were under sevene suppression of all kinds, especially giving in private properties or resources as collective belongings. Within region 15 and 25, there were sort of arragment of collectives into which people were integrated and half their properties went to angkar.
សេក ចំរើន ត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃ៩ កក្ដដា ១៩៧៤ នៅទួល ក្រសាំង។ ជននេះមានឋានៈជាយុទ្ធជនក្នុងកងអនុសេនាតូច៧១១ អនុសេនាធំ៧១ វរសេនាតូច១២៧ វរសេនាធំ២៦៨ កងពលតូច ១២ ភូមិភាគពិសេស។ ក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច១២៧នេះស្ថិតនៅក្រោមមេបញ្ជា ការឈ្មោះ ស្រស់ ដែលមានកងទ័ពពី២៨០-៣០០ នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ធុន យុទ្ធជនខ្មាំងនៅក្នុងកងឯកភាពនេះពុំសូវ មានចិត្ដចង់ប្រយុទ្ធទេ ពីព្រោះគេឃើញគ្រួសាររបស់ពួកគេជួបការ លំបាកវេទនា។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀតទទួលរងនូវការគាបសង្កត់គ្រប់បែបយ៉ាង និង ពិសេសទៅទៀតគឺប្រមូលយកធនធានរបស់ប្រជាជនទៅធ្វើជាសម្បត្ដិរួម។ នៅក្នុងតំបន់១៥ និង ២៥ មានការរៀបចំប្រជាជនឱ្យចូលទៅ ក្នុងសហករណ៍និងត្រូវបញ្ជូលទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិរបស់ខ្លួនពាក់កណ្ដាលឱ្យទៅ អង្គការដើម្បីដាក់ក្នុងសហករណ៍។
