Uk Sophat aka Uk Kunthea was born in Pralingmeas village, Samrong sub-district, Prey Veng district, Prey Evg province. Uk Sophat was a teacher teaching children in Pralingmeas village. The person defected on April 29, 1974 at Prek Kandieng in Prey Veng province. Sophat told the national army about the activities of zone 203 which was situated in the East of Mekong river. The person also reveal Kampuchea communist party's plan in Prey Veng district.He told that people in region 24 did not satify with Angkar strategy at all. King Sihanouk's named was so much respected by the local people, who wished to have a safe security in that area.
អ៊ុក សុផាត ហៅ អ៊ុក គន្ធា កើតនៅភូមិព្រលឹងមាស សង្កាត់ សំរោង ស្រុកនិងខេត្ដព្រៃវែង។ ជាគ្រូបង្រៀនកូនកេ្មងនៅភូមិព្រលឹងមាស ដែល បានចុះចូលនៅថ្ងៃ២៩ មេសា ១៩៧៤នៅព្រែកកណ្ដៀង ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង។ សាម៉ីខ្លួនបានរាយការណ៍ពីកងទ័ពភូមិភាគ ២០៣ ផ្នែកខាងកើតទនេ្លមេគង្គ និងការរៀបចំខ្លះរបស់ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដនៅ ក្នុងស្រុកព្រៃវែង។ ទឹកចិត្ដ ប្រជាជននៅក្នុងតំបន់ ២៤ពុំពេញចិត្ដ នឹងអង្គការដោយមានការជិះជាន់ បិទសេរីភាព។ ប្រជាជនចង់ឱ្យ មានការចរចារសន្ដិភាពឆាប់ៗហើយនៅតែ មានការស្រឡាញ់ និងគោរពសេ្ដចសីហនុនៅឡើយ។
