Tlang Rot was a combatant of enemy's company 101, led by Taing Yeun. In 1973, while the person were fishing, the person was arrested by enemy and transferred to Khna village. After 7 months producing boat in Khna village, the person was sent to do the militiaman in Preah Netpreah district, Battambang province. Later, the person was transferred to company 101 in Chek Angkor village, Preah Netpreah district, Battambang province. Being unhappy with enemy's management and due to malaria the person was suffring from, the person decided to defect to national troop.
ថ្លាង រុត ជាយុទ្ធជនកងអនុសេនាធំលេខ១០១ ដឹកនាំដោយឈ្មោះ តាំងយឺន។ សាម៉ីខ្លួនត្រូវខ្មាំងចាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ក្នុងពេលកំពុងចាប់ត្រី បញ្ជូនទៅទុកនៅភូមិខ្នា។ ធ្វើទូកបាន៧ខែត្រូវខ្មាំងបញ្ជូនឱ្យធ្វើឈ្លប ស្រុកព្រះនេត្រព្រះ ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។ ក្រោយមកទៀតខ្មាំងបានបញ្ជូនឱ្យ ធ្វើជាយុទ្ធជនក្នុងកងអនុសេនាធំលេខ១០១ ប្រតិបត្ដិនៅភូមិ ចែកអង្ករ ស្រុកព្រះនេត្រព្រះ ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។ ដោយមិនពេញចិត្ដនឹងរបប គ្រប់គ្រងរបស់ខ្មាំងជាពិសេសខ្លួនមានជម្ងឺគ្រុនចាញ់ប្រចាំកាយ។ យូរពេកក៍ដាច់ចិត្ដភៀសខ្លួនចូលចុះនឹងទាហានជាតិ។
