A source said that on July 16, 1973, about 500 armed North Viet Congs deployed in Storng village at VV535-307 in Storng sub-district, Storng district, Kampong Thom province. Those enemies attempted to attack Kampong Thom province in the near future.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១៦ សីហា ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាង ជើងប្រហែលជា៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ ធ្វើចលនាពាសពេញ ភូមិស្ទោង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ៥៣៥-៣០៧ ឃុំស្ទោង ស្រុកស្ទោង ពួកវាមានបំណងវាយប្រហារទីរួមខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ ក្នុងពេល ឆាប់ៗ។
