A source said: On July 30, 1973, about 150 Khmer guerrillas moved from Prek Thmei village to hide at VT975-699 and VT991-712 in Prek Eng district, Kean Svay district, Kandal province. Those enemies deployed 75 mm and 82 mm heavy artillery guns behind a school in Ang Kanh village, Kean Svay district, Kandal province. On the other hand, they attempted to attack our National Armed Forces Base in Chbar Ampeou and to blow up Khbal Thnol bridge.
ប្រភពផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ៣០ កក្កដា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រមាណ ១៥០នាក់ បានរំកិលពីភូមិព្រែកថ្មី មកឈគ្នាត្រង់វ៉េតេ៩៧៥-៦៩៩ និងវ៉េតេ៩៩១-៧១២ ក្នុងឃុំព្រែកឯង ស្រុកកៀនសា្វយ ខេត្ដ កណ្ដាល។ ពួកវាបានតាំងកាំភ្លើង៧៥មីលីម៉ែត្រ ឥតធាក់ថយ កាំភ្លើងត្បាល់៨២មីលីម៉ែត្រ នៅក្រោយសាលារៀនក្នុងភូមិអង្គាញ់ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ៩៩៣-៧១០, វ៉េតេ៩៩០-៧១០, វេ់តេ៩៨៤-៧០២, វ៉េតេ៩៨៧-៧០៥ ក្នុងបំណងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងយើង នៅខ័ណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅ និងកមេ្ទចស្ពានក្បាលថ្នល់នៅពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខ នេះ។
