A source said that on August 23, 1973, about 400 Khmer rebels equipped with AK47, CKC, Karabin and B40 stayed in Rokar Koy village, Tmey village, Rokar Koy sub-district, Kong Meas districts. They planned to attack Kampong Cham town in the near future.
ប្រភពផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២៣ កក្កដា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ប្រហែលជា៤០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាកា៤៧សេកាសេការ៉ាប៉ីន និង បេ៤០បានតាំងជម្រកក្នុងភូមិរកាគយ និងភូមិថ្មី ឃុំរកាគយ ស្រុកកងមាស។ ពួកវាមានបំណងវាយ ក្រុងកំពង់ចាម ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ។
