On August 18, 1973, some Khmer guerrillas came to deploy in Svay Rolom sub-district, Sa-ang district at VT999-660. On August 21, 1973, about 100 Khmer guerrillas left from Phsak mountain to deploy in Svay Rolom sub-district. Those enemies detroyed Tanorng bridge by burning and buried mines along channel side so as to prevent the national armed forces from moving up to operate in that area.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ១៨ សីហា ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមមួយចំនួនបាន មករាយគ្នានៅក្នុង ឃុំស្វាយរលំ ស្រុកស្អាង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ៩៩៩-៦៦០។ នៅថ្ងៃ២១ សីហា ១៩៧៣ ពួកខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រមាណ ១០០ នាក់បានធ្វើដំណើរចេញពីភ្នំផ្សាក មករាយគ្នានៅក្នុងឃុំស្វាយរលំ។ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះបានដុតបំផ្លាញស្ពានតានង ព្រមទាំងដាក់មីនតាម បណ្ដោយមាត់ព្រែកដើម្បីកុំឱ្យកងទ័ពជាតិធ្វើដំណើរឡើងមកបាន។
