On August 15, 1973, about 600 armed Khmer guerrillas came to deploy in forest located in the West of Rolak village in Krala sub-district, Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province. Those enemies attempted to smash our National Armed Forces Base in Banteay Thlea and Kampong Cham town.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១៥ សីហា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានមករាយគ្នានៅក្នុងព្រៃខាងលិចភូមិ រលាក់ ក្នុងឃុំក្រឡា ស្រុកកំពង់សៀម។ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះមានបំណង ប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ពយើងនៅបន្ទាយធ្លា និងក្រុងកំពង់ចាម។
