On August 18, 1973, about 1,500 armed Khmer guerrillas were divided into 3 groups, and moved from Bor Sen village to deploy in villages as following:
- Kampong Kantuot in Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. - Phnom Ho Pnauv mountain at VT682-539 - Rokar Thom village at VT403-344. Those enemies attempted to attack our National Armed Forces Base in Kampong Kantuot in the near future. កាលពី ១៨ សីហា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រមាណ១៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានធ្វើដំណើរចេញពីភូមិបរសែន បាន បំបែកគ្នាជា៣ក្រុមសំដៅទៅកាន់ភូមិនានាដូចជាៈ - កំពង់កន្ទូត ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល- ភ្នំហូរព្នៅត្រង់វ៉េតេ៦៨២-៥៣៩- ភូមិរកាធំត្រង់វ៉េតេ៤០៣-៣៤៤ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះ មករាយគ្នា លាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងតំបន់ខាងលើនេះ ដើម្បីវាយលុកទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិ យើងនៅកំពង់កន្ទួតសាជាថ្មី។
