On August 14, 1973, about 200 armed Khmer guerrillas, under the commander of Ma Lay traveled from Ket Chorng village at WT105-666 in Dey Et sub-district to Robors Angkanh village and Tuol Chror, Kandal province. Those armed Khmer guerrillas divided themselve into two groups:
- First gruop was responsible for fighting against our National Armed Forces base in Chom Pos Ka-EK and Chba Ampeou district. - Second group was responsible for attacking on our National Armed Forces in Prek sub-district, Kean Svay district and cut off National road ៈ1. កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៤ សីហា ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ក្រោមបញ្ជារបស់ឈ្មោះ ម៉ាឡៃ បាន ធ្វើដំណើរចេញពីភូមិកែតចង់ ត្រង់ដាប់បីយូតេ១០៥-៦៦៦ ក្នុង ឃុំដីឥដ្ឋ សំដៅមកស្នាក់នៅក្នុងភូមិបោះអង្កាញ់ និងទួលច្រនាង ក្នុងឃុំព្រែកឯង ស្រុកគៀនស្វាយ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះ បំបែកជា២ក្រុម ដោយក្នុងនោះក្រុមទី១ វាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ព ជាតិយើងត្រង់ចំពុះក្អែក ខ័ណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅ ហើយក្រុមទី២ មានតួនាទី វាយផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ១ ត្រង់ម្ដុំឃុំព្រែក ស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ។
