On August 08, 1973, about 1000 Viet Cong soldiers, equipped with modern guns, travelled from Prek Kakk to O Khleng villages by trucks. These enemies came to deploy in Chamkar Chek village, Chamkar Krouch sub-district, Chamkar Leu district, Kampong Cham province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ០៨ សីហា ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រមាណ ១០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធទំនើបៗគ្រប់ដៃ បានធ្វើដំណើរ តាមរថយន្ដកាមីញ៉ុងជាច្រើនគ្រឿង ចេញពីព្រែកកក់ សំដៅមកកាន់ ភូមិអូរខ្លែងពណ៌។ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះ បានមកតាំងជម្រកនៅក្នុងចំការ ចេកក្នុង ឃុំចំការក្រូច ស្រុកចំការលើ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។
