On August 12, 1973, Khmer guerrillas assigned their soldier to mingle with villagers and they then went to market in order to buy 4 sets of scuba equipments to blow up Kbal Thnal brigde in the near future. On the other hand, 60 Khmer guerrillas were assigned to be suicide commando, and they divided themselves into two group.
- First group was responsible for fighting against our National Armed Forces base and security guard who were patrolling were guarding, Khbal Thnol bridge. - Second group was responsible for ambushing our national navy which were operating along the Basak river in order to cut off Chba Am Poeun bridge. កាលពី ១២ សីហា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ពួកខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម បានចាត់គ្នាឱ្យចូល បន្លំ ខ្លួនដើររកទិញឧបករណ៍មុជទឹក៤គ្រឿង ដើម្បីយកទៅមុជទឹកផ្ដាច់ស្ពាន ក្បាលថ្នល់ ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។ ម៉្យាងទៀត ពួកវាបាន បង្កើតកងកុម្ម៉ង់ដូ អត្ដឃាតដែលមានកម្លាំងចំនួន៦០នាក់ ចែកចេញ ជាពីរក្រុម។ ក្រុមទី១មានតួនាទីវាយប្រហារលើកទីតាំងការពារ យើងនៅខ័ណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅ អ្នកយាមស្ពាន។ ក្រុមទី២ មានតួនាទី ត្រៀមស្ទាក់វាយកងម៉ារីន យើងដែលល្បាតតាមទនេ្លបាសាក់ ដើម្បីងាយស្រួលដល់គ្នាវាធ្វើការផ្ដាច់ស្ពានច្បារអំពៅ។
