On August 21, 1973, about 500 armed North Viet Cong in unit ៈ305 under command of Leuy, came to deploy in Don Vong village and Ang village in Trie sub-district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. Those enemies attempted to smash on the National Armed Forces Base, and also to cut off Kampong Tuol bridge in the near future.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ២១ សីហា ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួន ខាងជើងប្រមាណ ៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធទំនើបៗគ្រប់ដៃស្ថិតនៅក្នុងកង៣០៥ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ឡឺយ បានធ្វើដំណើរមករាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅ ភូមិដូនវង្ស និងភូមិអង្គ ក្នុងឃុំទ្រា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះមានបំណងប្រុងវាយលុកមកលើទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិយើង នៅកំពង់កន្ទួត កាត់ផ្ដាច់ស្ពានកំពង់ទួលក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។
