A source reported that on June 26, 1973, 500 North Viet Cong Armed Forces deployed along Sam Poch Greek in Damnak Kantuot sub-district Kampong Tralach district of Kampot province. The source reported that the enemies aimed to use 75 mm cannon to attack Kampot district.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួន ខាងជើងប្រមាណ៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធចម្រុះគ្រប់ធុនបាន រាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅតាមបណ្ដោយអូសម្ពោធ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ដំណាក់កន្ទួត ស្រុកកំពង់ត្រាច ខេត្ដកំពត។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ថា ខ្មាំងមានគោល បំណងបាញ់ផ្លោងកាណុង៧៥មីលីម៉ែត្រ និងវាយប្រហារស្រុកកំពត។
