On June 21, 1973 some 600 Viet Cong soldiers stayed in the Western part of Vihear Luong pagoda VU 244-780, 248-780, 244-783 in Sangkat Chhae Kam, Krakor district, Pursat province as part of an attempt to attack National Road 5 between Kbal Damrei to Trapeang Chan.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានយួនយៀកកុងប្រហែល ៦០០នាក់ បានមកស្នាក់នៅខាងលិចវត្ដវិហារលួង ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ២៤៤-៧៨០, ២៤៨-៧៨០, ២៤៤-៧៨៣ និង ២៤៨-៧៨៣ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ឈើគាំ ស្រុកក្រគរ ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់ ក្នុងគោលបំណង វាយប្រហារតាមបណ្ដោយផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៥ ចាប់ពីក្បាលដំរីទៅត្រពាំង ច័ន្ទ។
