A source reported that on 26 May 1973, about 300 North Yuon Viet Congs and Khmer Rebels entered to take shelter at UV 893-602 in Kampong Plok village, Kampong Plok sub-district, Sotr Nikum district, Siem Reap province. Those enemies dug a lot of trenches in order to protect themselves.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុង យួនខាងជើង និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រមាណ៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចូលមកតាំងជម្រក នៅក្នុងភូមិ កំពង់ភ្លុក ត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ៨៩៣-៦០២ ក្នុងសង្កាត់កំពង់ភ្លុក ស្រុកសូត្រនិគម ខេត្ដសៀមរាប។ ពិសេសខ្មាំងបានជីកលេណដ្ឋានជាច្រើនកន្លែង សំរាប់ការពារ។
