A source reported that on May 24, 1973 about 150 Khmer Rebels, 18 year-old combatant in Battalion 35, under the command of Tem Sdaeng, came to hide themselves Kra Chap village at UV 125-760, Sangkat Prey Chas, MungKol Borei district, Battambang province. The source indicated that the troops planned to conquer Defense Bases along Mungkol Borei, a small river.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ប្រមាណ១៥០នាក់ ជាយុទ្ធជនកេ្មងៗអាយុ១៨ឆ្នាំ ក្នុងកងវរសេនា តូចលេខ៣៥ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ទឹម ស្ដើង បានមកលាក់ខ្លួន ស្នាក់នៅក្នុងភូមិក្រចាប់ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ១២៥-៧៦០ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ ព្រៃចាស់ ស្រុកមង្គលបូរី ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ថា កងទ័ពនេះមកដើម្បីរៀបចំកាន់កាប់ទីតាំងមូលដ្ឋានការពារតាម បណ្ដោយស្ទឹងមង្គលបូរី។
