A source reported that on June 16, 1973, 100 North Yuon Viet Cong Armed Forces and 50 Khmer Rebels equipped with modern guns including 82 mm mortars, 60 mm mortars, B-40 guns, AR 15 guns and grenades departed from Prek Koy village to bridge in Thmei village at VU 937-037.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុង យួនខាងជើងចំនួ១០០នាក់ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម៥០នាក់ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ ទំនើបៗដូចជាកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់៨២មីលីម៉ែត្រ, ៦០មីលីម៉ែត្រ, បេ៤០, អាអ៊ែ១៥ ព្រមទាំងគ្រាប់បែកដៃបានធ្វើចលនាពីភូមិព្រែក កុយមកស្ពាននៅភូមិថ្មី ត្រង់វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩៣៧-០៣៧។
