Hem Hieng got married to Chum Uo when she was 29 years old. Her husband died because of sickness. Hieng has 7 children, but only four of them still alive. Hieng has 11 sibling,but only two of them still alive. Her father called Nou and her mother called Phy. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. He was in combat situation. He was brainwashed. He was forced to separate from his family members. She has soffocated from the Khmer Rouge regime until now. She lost consciousness once. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She feels jumpy. She feels irritable. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience.
ហែម ហៀង រៀបការជាមួយ ជុំ អួរនៅពេលដែលគាត់មានអាយុ២៩ឆ្នាំ។ ប្ដីរបស់គាត់ស្លាប់ដោយសារជំងឺ។ ហៀងមានកូន៧នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដនៅតែ៤នាក់ទេ។ ហៀងមានបងប្អូន១១នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដនៅរស់រានមានជីវិតតែពីរនាក់ទេ។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះនូ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះភី។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបអាហារ ទឹក ថ្នាំព្យាបាល និងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ប្រយុទ្ធតស៊ូនៅក្នុងសមរភូមិ។ គាត់អប់រំឱ្យផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់មានអាការៈថប់ដង្ហើមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ មកទល់បច្ចុប្បន្ន។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់បាត់បង់ស្មារតីមួយដង។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញដល់ហេតុការណ៍ឈឺចាប់ដែលគួរអោយភ័យខ្លាចបំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតមានឡើងជាថ្មីម្ដងទៀត។ គាត់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ឆាប់ខឹង។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនអោយគិតអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។
