Vietnam's diplomatic strategy was to blunt pressures for a political compromise on Kampuchea by offering to satify many of the past concerns voiced by the ASEAN states about Vietnamese intentions toward the region.
យុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រការទូតរបស់ប្រទេសវៀតណាមគឺដើម្បីដាក់សម្ពាធដោយឥត លាក់លៀមដល់ការសម្របសម្រួលខាងផ្នែកនយោបាយរបស់កម្ពុជាដែល ធ្វើឡើងតាមរយះការផ្ដល់ជូនដើម្បីបំពេញទៅតាមតម្រូវការនៃកង្វល់ពី អតីតកាលដែលស្ដែងឡើងតាមរដ្ឋជាច្រើនរបស់វៀតណាមដែលដាក់មកលើ តំបន់នេះ។
