Nay Vandyra, director of Cambodia Red Cross, indoctrinated Ros Tim to flee into Thailand in order to desert the Khmer Rouge communism. After the liberation, Ros Tim returned back his village and met Ou Sabol, Yy Sarakk, Mam Man and Kim Sokh Chea. Then, they discussed with each other to find way to escape to Thailand. On the appointment date, they traveled on the national road number 3 towards Thailand, but during the trip, they were arrested in Kampot provincial town by the revolutionary soldier.
រស់ ទឹម ត្រូវបានឈ្មោះ ណយ រ៉ាន់ឌីរ៉ា នាយកកាកបាទក្រហម អូសទាញឱ្យរត់ទៅសៀម ដើម្បីគេចចេញពីកុម្មុយនិស្ដខ្មែរក្រហម។ ក្រោយរំដោះ រស់ ទឹម បានមករស់នៅក្នុងភូមិវិញ បានជួប អ៊ូ សាបុល, យី សារ៉ាក់, ម៉ម ម៉ន, គឹម សុខជា ដែលមានគោល បំណងរត់ទៅសៀមដែរ បានជុំនុំគ្នាណាត់ថ្ងៃរត់។ លុះដល់ថ្ងៃណាត់ ទាំងអស់គ្នាបានចេញដំណើរទៅស្រុកសៀមតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ ៣ ពេលទៅដល់ក្រុងកំពត ក៏ត្រូវបានកងទ័ពចាប់ខ្លួន។
