Radio Phnom Penh reported the visit of two American journalists and one British scholar but failed to mention about the terrorist attack, which had killed British scholar Caldwell. Caldwell's body was flown to Peking accompanied by Elizabeth Becker and Malcoom Caldwell.
វិទ្យុភ្នំពេញបានធ្វើការរាយការណ៍ពីទស្សនកិច្ចរបស់អ្នកការសែតជនជាតិអាមេរិកកាំងពីរនាក់ប៉ុនែÒមិនបាននិយាយពីការវាយប្រហារភេរវកម្ម ដែលបានសម្លាប់ អ្នកប្រាជ្ញជនជាតិអង់គេ្លសឈ្មោះខលវែល។ សាកសពរបស់ខលវែល ត្រូវបានបញ្ជូនតាមការហោះហើរទៅកាន់ទីក្រុងប៉េកាំងដែលបានអមដំណើរដោយ អេលីហ្សាប៊ែត ប៊ែកខ័រ និងម៉ាលខម ខលវែល។
