Son Sann was a thin, frail old man who walked through the forests of Cambodia's war zone supporting himself with stick. He was a guerilla leader, who was stirring up hope in Washington and other capitals that a third force was finally emerging in the struggle for Cambodia.
សឺន សាន មានមាឌតូចស្ដើងនិងជាជរាជនម្នាក់ដែលបានដើរឆ្លងកាត់ព្រៃ ដោយប្រើឈើច្រត់ដើម្បីជួយទប់ទំនឹងហើយព្រៃដែលលោកបានឆ្លងកាត់នោះ គឺជាទីតាំងភូមិសាស្ដ្រសម្រាប់ធ្វើសង្គ្រាមរបស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ សឺន សាន គឺជាមេដឹកនាំទ័ពឈ្លបដែលបានបណ្ដុះនូវក្ដីសង្ឃឹមនៅក្នុងរដ្ឋវ៉ាស៊ីន តោន និងទីក្រុងដទៃទៀតដែលជាកម្លាំងទ័ពបន្ថែមហើយត្រូវបានលេចចេញ ជារូបរាងក្រុមតស៊ូប្រឆាំងដើម្បីជួយដល់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។
