Steve Heder conducted this study which was based on approximately 800 interviews made at various time between November 1979 and August 1980. The interviews were conducted at numerous points along the Thai-Cambodian border.
ស្ទីវ ហេដឌ័រ បានដំណើរការនូវកិច្ចសិក្សានេះ ដែលផ្ដោតទៅ លើកិច្ច សម្ភាសន៍ ជាមួយប្រជាជនជាង៨០០នាក់ ក្នុងរយៈពេលយ៉ាងយូរគឺនៅ ចន្លោះខែវិច្ឆិកា ១៩៧៩ ដល់ខែសីហា នេះមានចំណុចជាច្រើនដែល ពាក់ព័ន្ធនិងព្រំដែន ប្រទេសថៃនិង ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ។
