The Human Rights situation in Cambodia was profoundly affected by the angoing struggle for political control, which began in December 1978 when the Vietnamese army drove the Khmer Rouge out of Phnom Penh.
ស្ថានភាពសិទិ្ធមនុស្សក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាបានរងការប៉ះពាល់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងដោយ តែការប្រយុទ្ធដែលកើតមានឡើងសម្រាប់ត្រួតពិនិត្យគោលនយោបាយនៅ ក្នុងប្រទេសដែលចាប់ផ្ដើមនៅក្នុងខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨ ដែលជាពេលកងទ័ព វៀតណាមធ្វើការបណេ្ដញក្រុមខ្មែរក្រហមចេញពីទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។
