Thai Foreign Minister Pichai Rattakul made a secret visit to Cambodia, greeted by Foreign Minister Ieng Sari. Thai officials said that the talks had centered on four main issues: The opening of full diplomatic relations, border issue, the return back of 20,000 Cambodian refugees in Thailand, and Thai fishermen who had been arrested.
រដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីការបរទេសថៃ ពិឆ័យ រតៈកុល បានធ្វើទស្សនកិច្ចសម្ងាត់មកកម្ពុជា ដែលបានទទួលស្វាគមន៍ដោយរដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីការបរទេស អៀង សារី។ មន្ដ្រីថៃ បាននិយាយថាកិច្ចពិភាក្សាបានផ្ដោតលើបព្ហា៤ចំណុចធំៗ ការបើកជំហរនូវទំនាក់ទំនងការទូត បព្ហាព្រំដែន បព្ហាលើការត្រលប់មកវិញនូវជនភៀសខ្លួនកម្ពុជាប្រមាណ ២០០០០ នាក់ ចេញពីប្រទេសថៃ និង បព្ហាលើអ្នកនេសាទជនជាតិថៃដែលបានចាប់ខ្លូន។
