Lon Nol government asked for aid from America. The two big questions, now, were the congressional vote on the aid come soon enough and would the aid did any good? If the compromise was successful, Phnom Penh would get about $175 millions in ammunition, fuel and food. The military aid was less than $222 million while the Ford Administration wanted $522 million.
រដ្ឋាភិបាលរបស់លោក លន់ នល់ បានស្នើរសុំជំនួយពីសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក។ មានពីសំណួរធំៗ ឥឡូវនេះ គឺសភាបោះឆ្នោតទៅលើជំនួយ នេះមានគុណភាពល្អៗទេ? ប្រសិនបើកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងនេះបានជោគជ័យ ទី ក្រុងភ្នំពេញនឹងទទួលបាន១៧៥លានដុល្លារ លើផ្នែកយោធា(គ្រាប់រំសេវ) បេ្រងសាំង និង អាហារ។ ជំនួយយោធាតិចជាង២២២ លានដុល្លា ខណៈពេលរដ្ឋបាលរបស់ ហូត ចង់បានទៅដល់ ៥២២ លានដុល្លារ។
