A group of Cambodians, led by Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, began a campaign that could embarrass some of the world's great institutions. The campaign wanted the World Court to declare that the Pol Pot regime practiced genocide. No one could doubt that the regime was guilty.
ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាមួយក្រុមដែលដឹកនាំដោយសកម្មជននយោបាយណូបែល ឡូរ៉េត អេលី វ៉េហេ្សល បានចាប់ផ្ដើមធ្វើយុទ្ធនាការដែលអាចធ្វើឱ្យទើស ទាល់ដល់ស្ថាប័នល្បីៗមួយចំនួននៅលើពិភពលោក។ យុទ្ធនាការនេះធ្វើ ឡើងគឺគ្រាន់តែចង់ឱ្យតុលាការពិភពលោកប្រកាសថារបប ប៉ុល ពត បានព្រឹត្ដនូវអំពើប្រល័យពូជសាសន៍ ហើយក៏គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់អាចសង្ស័យ បានទេថារបបនេះគឺជារបបខុសច្បាប់។
