Nget Nan is PTSD victim. Nget Nan got married when she was 15 years old. Her husband called Sim Than. Sim Than is now 80 years old. Nget Nan has 9 children, but two of them died. Her father called Sem. Her mother called Yan. Her parents both died in the Khmer Rouge regime. She has 6 siblings, but her elder brother died in Kraing Tachann.In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, medical care, and shelter. She was in combat situation. She was forced isolation from others. She was separated from her family members. She was in a situation where her life was in great danger. She used to loose consciousness once around 1 hour. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She has nightmares. She is unable to feel emotions. She feels jumpy. She is difficult in concentrating. She has trouble sleeping. She feels on guard. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She is avoiding thoughts associated with hurtful experience. She feels that people do not understand clearly what happened to her. She blames herself for things that have happened. She feels hopelessness. She spends time thinking about why those events happened to her. She feels as if she is going crazy. She feels that she is the only who suffered. She feels as if she split into two people and one of her is watching and the other is doing.
ង៉ែត ណនមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ ង៉ែត ណនរៀបការអាយុ១៥ឆ្នាំ។ ប្ដីរបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះ ស៊ឹម ថាន។ ស៊ឹម ថានលូវនេះអាយុ៨០ឆ្នាំហើយ។ គាត់មានកូន៩នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដពីរនាក់ស្លាប់ហើយ។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះសែម ហើយម្ដាយឈ្មោះយ៉ាន។ ឪពុកម្ដាយគាត់ស្លាប់ជំនាន់ប៉ុល ពត។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៦នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដបងប្រុងម្នាក់ស្លាប់នៅក្រាំងតាចាន់។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ថ្នាំពេទ្យ និងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ប្រយុទ្ធតស៊ូនៅសមរភូមិ។ គាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបង្ខំអោយរស់នៅដាច់ដោយឡែកពីអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ជួបស្ហានការណ៍រន្ធត់ដែលធើ្វអោយជីវិតរបស់គាត់ជួបនូវគ្រោះថ្នាក់។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់មួយដងចំនួនមួយម៉ោង។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វអោយនឹកឃើញជារឿយៗដល់ហេតុការណ៍ដែលគួរអោយភ័យខ្លាចជាទីបំផុត។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះនៅតែកំពុងតែកើតមានជាថ្មីម្ដងទៀត។ គាត់យល់សប្ដិជារឿយៗ។ គាត់ពុំអាចនឹងមានអារម្មណ៍អ្វីសោះ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ពិបាកប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍។ គាត់ពិបាកទទួលទានដំណេក។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យមានអារម្មណ៍ប្រុងប្រយ័ត្នខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វអោយគាត់នឹកដល់ហេតុការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់មានប្រតិក្មនៅក្នុងចិត្ដភ្លាមៗពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ហេតុការណ៍គួរអោយឈឺចាប់។ គាត់គិតថាអ្នកដទៃយល់ដឹងពុំច្បាស់លាស់ពីរឿងរ៉ាវរបស់គាត់។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងរឿងដែលកើតឡើង។ គាត់អស់សង្ឃឹម។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វអោយចំណាយពេលគិតឆ្ងល់ថាហេតុអី្វបានជាមានរឿងនោះកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់គិថាគាត់ដូចជាចង់ឆ្កួត។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាគាត់ម្នាក់ឯងគត់ដែលទទួលរងការឈឺចាប់ទាំងនោះ។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាខ្លួនគាត់ត្រូវបំបែកខ្លួនជាពីរ ហើយអ្នកទីមួយកំពុងតាមដានពិនិត្យ ហើយអ្នកទីពីរកំពុងធ្វើ។
