Before April 1975, Kassie Neou and his family were living in Phnom Penh. In Pol Pot regime, they were forced to evacuate to Battambang province. Khmer Rouge arrested him and put in Koch Rotech prison. After Vietnam invaded Cambodia, he escaped to Thailand.
មុនឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ , កាស៊ីនូ និងក្រុមគ្រួសាររស់នៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ,។ នៅ របប ប៉ុល ពត ពួកគេត្រូវបានជម្លៀសទៅខេត្ដបាត់បង។ ខ្មែរក្រហម បានចាប់ខ្លួន គាត់យកទៅដាក់គុក ខូច រូទិច។ ក្រោយមកបានចូលមក កម្ពុជា នូ ត្រូវបានគេចខ្លួនទៅប្រទេសថៃ។
