Thailand's Foreign Minister visited Phnom Penh. The visit of Thai Foreign Minister gave the tortous course of the Indochina border war another ironic twist. China had sent former Premier Chou En-Lai's widow Teng Ying-Chao to Phnom Penh in a show of support for the regime of Premier Pol Pot.
