Kampuchea seemed an oasis of peace in a region in torment. The battles which swept through Kampuchea between 1970 and 1975 exacted a heavey toll. For many, the peace which followed was as bad as the war.
កម្ពុជាហាក់បីដូចជាមណ្ឌលរំដោះសន្ដិភាពនៅក្នុងតំបន់នៃការធ្វើទារុណកម្ម។ ជម្លោះជាច្រើនដែលកម្ពុជាធ្លាប់បានឆ្លងកាត់នៅក្នុងចន្លោះឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ -១៩៧៥ គឺបានសម្លាប់ចំនួនប្រជាជនអស់ជាច្រើននាក់ ហើយសន្ដិភាព ដែលអាចទទួលបានគឺមានភាពអាក្រក់ដូចទៅនឹងសង្គ្រាមដែលធ្វើចឹង។
