In 1978, Khmer Rouge combatants took and killed my father, Veng, and my brothers, Veng Kouy and Veng Plong, under the accusation that they were enemies. They were taken to be executed on the north side of Tbeng Village, Bo Sbov Commune, Serei Saophoan District, Banteay Meanchey Province.
People who witnessed the incident are: Min Brem, female, 76, mother Veng Teav, male, 50, older brother Veng Von, male, 58, older brother The regime killed my family members, forced [us] to work without relief and provided only a small amount of food to eat. When we fell ill, they said that we had consciousness decease. They put us to work even though we were sick. In addition, they put us to work without relief and we had no freedom at all. |
