Kissie Neou, a Cambodian who witnessed the mass killings which took place in his country, recently asked an audience in New York to think about the past. Amnesty International had documented political killings which took place not only in the 1970s, but also in the past few years.
កាស៊ី នោ គឺជាជនជាតិខ្មែរមួយរូបដែលជាសាក្សីនៅក្នុងរឿងការសម្លាប់ រង្គាលដែលកើតឡើងនៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជាហើយពេលថ្មីៗនេះលោកក៏បានស្នើ ឱ្យទស្សិកជនម្នាក់ដែលរស់នៅទីក្រុងញ៉ូវយ៉ូក ឱ្យគិតអំពីអតីកាល។ អង្គការលើកលែងទោសអន្ដរជាតិបានសំអាងលើឯកសារពីនយោបាយ នៃការកាប់សម្លាប់នេះមិនមែនកើតមានតែនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ប៉ុណ្ណោះ តែក៏បានកើតឡើងនៅក្នុងពេល២-៣ឆ្នាំដែលកន្លងផុតទៅដែរ។
