The Newsweek newspaper talked about Cambodian evacuees who took shelter from Khmer Rouge rocket attack at Phnom Penh's besieged Pochentong Airport. Lon Nol's soldiers had no will to fight, for they hadn't been paid for a month. Moreover, the Khmer Rouge continued to call for unconditional surrender. Many embassies and their citizens were closed and evacuated to their homeland.
កាសែតឌឺញ៉ូវសន៍ វីក និយាយអំពីជនជម្លៀសកម្ពុជាដែលត្រូវរត់គេចពួនពីការឡោមព័ន្ធវាយប្រហារដោយកាំជ្រួចខ្មែរក្រហម នៅព្រលានយន្ដហោះពោធិ៍ចិនតុងភ្នំពេញ។ ទាហាន លន់ ណល់ គ្មានឆន្ទះដើម្បីប្រយុទ្ធទេព្រោះពួកគេមិនទាន់បានបង់ប្រាក់អស់រយៈពេល១ខែហើយ។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀត ខ្មែរក្រហមនៅតែបន្ដលើកទង់ជ័យដោយគ្មានលក្ខខណ្ឌ។ ស្ថានទូតជាច្រើន និង ពលរដ្ឋរបស់គេត្រូវបានបិទផ្លូវនិង ជម្លៀសឱ្យទៅប្រទេសខ្លួនវិញ។
