This was the biography and activity of Chhean who had been involved in the Khmer Issarak's regime between 1946 and 1978. Between 1946 and 1951, Chhean joined the Khmer Issarak, and then served the Vietnamese Labor Worker. In 1953, Vietnamese assigned Chhean to serve Kok Meng Tay party because its influence was stronger than the Vietnamese Labor Worker. In 1957, Chhean joined the liberal world andvarious parties such as C.I.A and so on, until he was arrested and interrogated by the Angkar.
ប្រវត្ដិ និងសកម្មភាពរបស់ឈ្មោះ ឈាន តាំងពីឆ្នាំ ១៩៤៦ កុ្នងសម័យខ្មែរស្សរៈ រហូតដល់ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៨។ ឈាន បានចូលបំរើ ខ្មែរស្សរៈនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៤៦ ដល់ឆ្នាំ ១៩៥១ បានចូលបក្សពលករ យួន។ ឆ្នាំ ១៩៥៣ ពួកយួនបានឱ្យ ឈាន ចូលបក្សកុកម៉េងតាង ព្រោះវាមានអំណាចជាងបក្សពលករ។ ឆ្នាំ ១៩៥៧ ចូលបក្សលោក សេរី។ ឈាន បានចូលប្រឡូកជាមួយបក្សជាច្រើន មានតាំងពី សេអ៊ីអា, និងបក្សផេ្សងៗទៀតរហូតដល់ថ្ងៃអង្គការចាប់សួរចម្លើយ។
