Al Santoli expressed that U.S policy on Cambodia had a profound effect far beyond that tortured land. A change in US policy advocated by members of congress to abandon the non-communist Cambodian resistance and to engage the Hanoi regime and their surrogates in Phnom Penh would not stop the war or defeat the KR.
អាល់ សាន់តូលី បានបង្ហាញថា គោលនយោបាយរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក មកលើប្រទេសកម្ពុជាគឺមានផលប៉ះពាល់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងហួសពីដែននៃការធ្វើ ទារុណកម្ម។ ការផ្លាស់ប្ដូរនៃគោលនយោបាយរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកត្រូវ បានគាំទ្រដោយសមាជិកសភា ដើម្បីបញ្ឈប់នូវចលនាតស៊ូមិនមែនកម្មុយ និស្ដ និង ដើម្បីចូលប្រយុទ្ធជាមួយនឹងរបប ហាណូយនិងក្រុមជំនួសនៅ ក្នុងទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញដែលមិនទាន់បញ្ចប់សង្គ្រាមរឺមិនទាន់ឈ្នះក្រុមខ្មែរក្រហម។
