The new Khmer Rouge authorities in Phnom Penh celled on 2 million habitants of the city to evacuate because of what they said was on imminent U.S bombing attack. 2000 foreigners sought refugee in the French Embassy compound from the Hotel Le Phnom.
អាជ£ាធរខ្មែរក្រហមក្រុងភ្នំពេញថ្មីមួយ។ បានអំពាវនាវដល់ប្រជាជនក្នុងក្រុងប្រមាណ ២លាននាក់ ឱ្យធ្វើការជម្លៀស ដោយសារតែធ្វើអ្វីដែលពួកគេបាននិយាយថានឹងមានការទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែករបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកមកលើទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញនាពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខ។ ជនបរទេសប្រមាណ២០០០នាក់ បានស្វែងរកជម្រកភៀសខ្លួនក្នុងស្ថានទូតបារាំងដែលភៀសមកពីសណ្ឋាគារ ឡឺភ្នំ។
