According to some government troops who had escaped, both government and insurgent forces fought ferociously and brutally for three days. Losses on both sides were said to be very high.
យោងទៅតាមកងទ័ពរដ្ឋាភិបាលមួយចំនួនអ្នកដែលបានរត់គេចខ្លួន។ កងកម្លាំងរដ្ឋាភិបាលទាំងពីរ និងកងកម្លាំងឧទ្ទាមប្រយុទ្ធយ៉ាងខ្លាំងខ្លា អស់រយៈពេល៣ឆ្នាំ។ ការខូចខាត និង បាត់បង់នៃភាគីទាំងពីរ ត្រូវបានគេនិយាយថាអស់ចំនួនច្រើន។
