The original Khmer Rouge, which fought against Prince Sihanouk and which was influenced by French Communist Party and had Soviet syphathies, was one of many groups that participated in the fight against the Phnom Penh government after the Prince was ousted.
ខ្មែរក្រហមដំបូងពិតប្រាកដគឺវាយប្រឆាំងនឹងសមេ្ដចសីហនុ ហើយទទួលឥទ្ធិពលពីបក្សកុម្មនិស្ដបារាំង និង បាសាទចិត្ដជាមួយសូវៀត និងជាក្រុមមួយក្នុងចំណោមក្រុមដែលចូលដៃវាយប្រឆាំងនឹងរដ្ឋាភិបាលក្រុងភ្នំពេញបន្ទាប់ពីសមេ្ដចត្រូវបានបណេ្ដញចេញ។
