The Khmer Rouge faced two enormous tasks after their military victory. The first was to immediatly restore agriculture self sufficiency in the country. The record task was to organize, discipline, and direct the huge population that had been Lon Nol administration.
ខ្មែរក្រហមបានប្រឈមនឹងភារកិច្ចធំៗពីរ ក្រោយពីការទទួលជ័យជំនះរបស់ពួកគេ។ ដំបូងគឺត្រូវស្ដារឡើងវិញភ្លាមៗ ភាពគ្រប់គ្រាន់ខ្លួនឯងលើផ្នែកកសិកម្មក្នុងប្រទេស។ កិច្ចការបន្ទាប់គឺត្រូវរៀបចំ ដាក់ទោសទាន់ និង សំដៅដោយផ្ទាល់លើមនុស្សមួយចំនួនធំដែលជាអ្នកធ្លាប់បម្រើក្នុងរបប លន់ នល់។
