The first announcement that the embattled Phonm Penh forces had surrendered to the Khmer Rouge come from Colonel Phu Luc. He said government forces in Phnom Penh surrendered to attacking Khmer Rouge insurgent at 7:00 am.
សេចក្ដីប្រកាសដំបូងថា កងកម្លាំងភ្នំពេញបានចុះចូលជាមួយពួកខ្មែរក្រហម មកពីលោកវរសេរីយឯក ភូ ឡុក។ ឡុក បាននិយាយថា កងកម្លាំងរដ្ឋាភិបាលភ្នំពេញបានចុះចូលដើម្បីវាយឆ្មក់ពួកបះបោរខ្មែរក្រហម ខ្មែរក្រហមនៅម៉ោង៧ព្រឹក។
