In 1977, news began coming out of Indochina on the growing refugee problem in the area. The flow of refugee from Vietnam had not dried up. A few refugees were also managing to escape from Cambodia, bringing their murderous story.
នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ សារព័ត៌មានបានធ្វើការផ្សាយចេញអំពីការកើនឡើងនូវបព្ហារបស់ជនភៀសខ្លួននៅក្នុងតំបន់ឥណ្ឌូចិន។ លំហូរនៃជនភៀសខ្លួនពីវៀតណាមមិនទាន់មានការចុះនៅឡើយទេ។ ជនភៀសខ្លួនខ្លះទៀតក៏មានការគ្រប់គ្រងពីការរត់គេចមកពីកម្ពុជាហើយបាននាំយកនូវរឿងឃាតកម្មរបស់គេមកជាមួយ។
